New research centre aims to better protect Victorian consumers – News alert

Consumer Affairs Victoria have announced that the Victorian Government has launched a new research centre with the aim of driving policy development to better protect Victorian consumers.

The Consumer Policy and Research Centre (CPRC) replaces the Consumer Utilities Advocacy Centre, with responsibilities for consumer utilities policy transferred to the CPRC.
