When should I phone SES

By Emma Smith

With news of severe weather for Victoria and Tasmania set to occur over the next couple of days

Like at all other times, your personal safety and the safety of your colleagues is of paramount importance. If you are on the road, please ensure you take extra care. In any emergency situation call 000 if you require any assistance.
If urgent assistance is required please ring 000. If non-urgent, it may be appropriate to call the State Emergency Service (SES) of Victoria on 132 500. The SES have developed a flowchart to determine when this is appropriate, which you can access here. You can also click here to view the full Victorian SES emergency contact list and here to review all current warning and incidents reported on the VicEmergency website.
